Microplastic contamination has become a problem, as plastic production increased worldwide. Microplastics are plastics with particles of less than 5 mm and absorbed through soil, water, atmosphere, living organisms finally affect human health. However, information on the distribution, toxicity, analytical methods, removal techniques for microplastics is insufficient. For clear microplastic methods technologies, this article includes following: (1) The distribution pathways worldwide reviewed. (2) health effects toxicity were researched.
